Chris, from Kin Studio, approached us looking to do a complete rebrand and name change to her over 20 years business. With her multi-vertical brand that encompassed Pilates, skincare, and facial services, she felt like her brand felt disjointed and didn’t communicate the breadth and depth of her vision. Having outgrown her prior brand, but deeply rooted in the local community, she was looking to partner with a studio that could fully revamp her brand from end-to-end without while serving the community she has already built as she scaled to 2 locations.
THE CHALLENGE
Rebrand Face and Body into Kin Studio, and create a communal, inclusive, luxury wellness space in the surrounding Bay Area that felt elevated yet approachable. Our goal was to create a brand that conveyed strength, confidence and inclusion, while also communicating the brand’s elegance and sophistication.

Like all of our category-creating brands, we wanted to define Kin’s ownable brand color(s) and develop a visual world that carried this spirit of the brand throughout all of its touchpoints.
Our intuition meets strategy approach brought us to an electrifying, yet soothing baby blue as the primary brand color, a logo that felt modern and confident, yet elegant and luxurious, and photography that captured and celebrated the true diversity of Kin’s community like its namesake.
