HOW TO USE YOUR JOURNAL ON THE NEW AND FULL MOON

STEP 1:

When you open your journal on the New or Full Moon each month, check the very top of the opening page to see which sign the moon is in and what degree it will be in.

In the example below, we can see that the Full Moon on April 1st, 2026 is in Libra at 12.21 degrees.

STEP 2:

Now that you know the sign and degree the moon is in, refer back to your ‘My Birth Chart’ page in your journal and check which House is in Libra at 12.21 degrees.

In the example birth chart below, Libra at 12.21 degrees is in the 11th house since the natal house starts at 0 degrees. The Full Moon in Libra will be in this chart’s 11th house on April 1.

STEP 3:

Using the wheel chart image on the New or Full Moon opening page, highlight, circle, or fill in the house the moon is transiting on this moon. Example below.

STEP 4:

Using the next page - the House description page - you can highlight or circle the house the moon is transiting to understand the unique themes that might be highlighted for you on this moon.
